All this talk of the Perseid meteor shower last night got me thinking about the final frontier out there. Did you see it? It would have been a great night for it, but they lost me at “predawn.” The only thing that happens for me predawn is preawake. I have a feeling that getting the exact look of these DIY Galaxy Vans from Luuux might be a little more difficult than it looks, but if you could nail it, so worth the trouble.
This Space Gift Wrap Paper from Tikkido is super easy, thanks to NASA.
I love the simplicity of this Marble Moon Phase Wall Hanging from Almost Makes Perfect.
This Solar System Chunky Necklace from Whistle and Ivy looks fun to both make and wear.
This Playdoh Planet Earth from Meet the Dubiens might be more about the planet we’re sitting on than what’s beyond it, but you can’t talk about space without including our big, blue marble, right?
You can seek out astronomy magazines to make these Galaxy Envelopes from Minieco, or go back to that NASA thing above. I’d love to find one of these in my mailbox!
Teach kids about the solar system and provide a healthy snack at the same time? Creative Kid Snacks shows you how it’s done.
The back of this Dream Pillow from 5 Orange Potatoes is just as cute as the front.
These Push Light Planets from Play at Home Mom would be a great teaching tool. Who am I kidding – I just want to push all the buttons.
The thing I thought was kind of amazing about this Warp Speed Galaxy Shirt from Punk Projects is that it’s really just a splatter-bleached shirt, but the little added details make all the difference.
