Friday Favorites–Over the Rainbow

I feel like talking about rainbows today.  It’s been a particularly productive week, and I just found out I’m going to be taking a trip to the East coast just before Christmas.  Either one of those would put me in a good mood, but together, they call for rainbows.

This wooden toy rainbow from Etsy seller Imaginationkids makes me happy just looking at it.

My son used to line his Hot Wheels cars up in perfect little rows when he was small.  I can only imagine what that little boy would have thought of this Rainbow Car Atlas by David T. Waller.

I’m always amazed at the projects the engineer-minded contributors come up with on Instructables.  These torches by paul em (or flashlights) made from a Coke can and cereal box are no exception.

I’ve been tempted to try making buttons from Fimo clay, but this Clay Jewelry from Brenda Flores has steered me toward jewelry instead.

Can you imagine the look on a kid’s face when they opened this Birthday Box Surprise from She’s Crafty?

My girl was not one to leave anything in her hair, but I’m glad there’s others out there willing to wear cute things like these Curly Hair Bows from Glorious Treats.

I’ve never seen this recipe for Cold Porcelain, courtesy of Mashia Crafts, but I really want to give it a try.

I love this creative combination of items on this Mosaic Bottle from Waschbear Designs.

Love this Rainbow Ruffle Dress from The Real Housewives of Riverton, love the flowers in her hair, I even love her teeny, tiny shoes.

This Bubble Quilt from Awaiting Ada might be one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen.  The adorable kid on it doesn’t hurt either.

Here’s hoping you find a pot of gold today!
