Friday Favorites–Easter

Easter happens to fall on the very last day of spring break for my kids this year, which means my husband and son will be arriving back home from their camping trip and my daughter has to head back to start her next college term.  On Easter.  I heard there was some talk of trying to make the Monday after the Super Bowl a holiday – how about the Monday after Easter?  Who’s with me?

When I’m not whining about our messed up Easter, I’ve found lots of cute things to make.  Trying to stay in balance you know.  Let’s start with these Bunny Cookies and Milk from Munchkin Munchies.  Cookies and milk makes everything better.

I found these adorable Droopy Ear Sock Bunnies on Craft Passion when I was looking for sock monkeys.  These almost made me change my mind and make them instead.

Little kids hopped up on sugar all day on Easter isn’t nearly as much fun as it sounds.  Balance it out with this Easter Egg Lunch from Ramblings of a Handbag Designer.

These Sleepy Bunny Goody Bags from Probably Actually look easy to make.  I could see kids storing treasures in them after Easter is over.  You just might want to check and make sure those treasures aren’t meant to be refrigerated.

Tired of those solid colored plastic eggs?  Try taking them up a notch with these Fuzzy Easter Eggs from Pajama Crafters.  They still open!

This Crochet Bunny Hat from Fashion Crochet Design would be cute anyway, but that flower…love!

It’s hard to believe the simple materials that go into making these Easter Décor Carrots from The Creek Line House.

If you’re visiting friends or family for Easter, this Hostess Gift for Easter from ‘A Casarella might come in handy.

My husband loves carrot cake, so I think these Inside Out Carrot Cake Muffins from King Arthur Flour will be on the menu for our late-day brunch.

If you’re a knitter, these Juicy Fruit Bunnies from Petite Purls are for you.  And if you’re looking to get rid of one, feel free to send it my way.  I didn’t notice at first, even though the name should have given it away, but their hats are fruit!

Have a wonderful Easter!
