One of the things I love about where I live is the abundance of strawberry stands in the late spring and early summer. There is nothing like an Oregon-grown strawberry. I ate so many when I was pregnant with my daughter I used to joke that she was going to come out all red and covered in seeds. I’m still waiting for them this year, but in the meantime I found a few substitutes to tide me over.

I’ve needed a new pincushion for longer than I’m comfortable admitting on this craft blog. These Strawberry Pincushions from Down Grapevine Lane might be just the thing.
Strawberries are cute, but when it comes down to it, my favorite thing to do is eat them. Thanks to warmer places sharing their crops I don’t have to wait to have these Strawberry Cake Bars from Raining Hot Coupons. In fact, I think today sounds good.
