I wish he could have stayed with us longer, but my youngest has landed in Italy, his home for the next three years. The thought of him halfway around the world is almost incomprehensible to me, but I couldn’t be more proud of him. His future is bright, and I can’t wait to see it. My daughter and her husband are also living the good life, with job promotions announced every time we turn around, schooling underway and plans to move into a house soon. I gotta tell ya – I’m feeling like one lucky mom and I’m ready to celebrate!
