Friday Favorites–Thanksgiving

Before I get into this week's picks, I'd like to take a minute on this Veteran's Day to address all the current and former service men and women out there, and those who support them.  We owe you a great debt and the least we can offer is our appreciation.  Thank you for your service. I looked at the calendar a couple of days ago, and instead of the three weeks I thought I had until Thanksgiving, it had magically turned into two.  We're celebrating the day after the holiday, since my husband will be out protecting the streets on Thanksgiving, so that buys me one extra day.  Somehow I think that day will disappear just as quickly as all the rest!

There's nothing that says your Thanksgiving can't have a little activity besides eating.  This Turkey Hunt Game from Bloom Designs would be fun to play with the kiddos.

These Thanksgiving Pretzel Turkeys from Mommy Octopus just crack me up.  I'm not sure I could eat those big, googly eyes!  Yeah, there's candy – I'd probably find a way to get over it.

What I love about these Pumpkin Rolls from Thistlewood Farms is that you don't necessarily have to start with bread made from scratch.
