Here we are again, the last day of August and starting off Labor Day weekend. I'm definitely ready for this summer to be over, because I can't take any more of this heat. I feel like everyone else is all "Yay, pumpkin spice lattes!" and I'm over here "Only if it's on ice. And not pumpkin spice!" 😂

While I'm not feeling pumpkin spice in my coffee, I am ready to start seeing them out and about. This one from A Thoughtful Place is my current favorite.
We have an owl that lives behind our house. I've never seen him, but we hear him hooting every day. I like to imagine he looks like this one from Craft Passion. Except he's probably not purple and blue.
I love this little pouch for carrying a needle and thread from Victorian Quilt Designs.
One of the best things we had to eat in Italy was bruschetta. None of it was desserty like this version from Pizzazzerie, but this definitely looks worth a try.
Silk ribbon embroidery isn't something you see around much these days, but I hope it makes a comeback. The dimension and shape of the ribbon is so beautiful. If it's something you'd like to try, TatianaPopovaCrafts has a lovely kit that's aimed at a beginner.
