Our bedroom closet is pretty small, so I have to choose a point each year where I swap my sandals for boots and shorts for sweaters. Yesterday was that day. I feel like it’s a little earlier than normal, but give me flannel shirts, boots and scarves over summer clothes any day. I’m also excited to switch from iced drinks to something with a little more steam coming off the top. Anyone wonder why I’m excited about our eventual move to Montana?

I love the shape of this cute bag pattern from Sew4Home. This, in a buffalo check for fall and winter. Guess what I’m making today.
This game from Kid Friendly Things to Do is a great lead-in to Halloween, and I can’t imagine it costs much to make.
I don’t care what anyone says, I will never tire of mason jars. These painted fruits from Color Made Happy are especially sweet.
A stop at Auntie Anne’s for a pretzel during a trip to the mall was almost a must when my kids were younger. These copycats from Cooking Classy come complete with the best part - the dip.
Cut gemstone quilts are having a moment. I really like this simple version from SarahRoseQuilts. I could actually make this one.
