Welcome to the last Friday of 2018! Do you ever look at the calendar and think “That just can’t be right?” I feel like we were just worrying about Y2K. That’s so far in the rear view that my grown children don’t even remember it. Ugh. I’m just going to go hang out in my sewing room for the rest of the year. I feel like time moves just a little slower in there!

It’s not looking like we have much of a chance of any snow around here this year, but my hands are always freezing regardless. These warmers from Sew4Home seem like something I should keep on my desk.
This is the perfect time of year to start a birthday board, like this one from Gluesticks.
I love the size and shape of this bag from Delia Creates. Perfect project to start out the new year!
If you aren’t quite done with all the sugar yet (I’m not slowing down until New Year’s Eve is over), check out these decadent brownies from Baked by an Introvert.
If you’d like to make something to spice up your sewing area this year, check out this quilt from Annie’s Craft Store. I think my favorite part is that sweet little button jar.
