Remember last week when I said I wanted to reorganize my fabric, but kept putting if off? Well, I checked that box this week! Everything is organized and neatly folded, and I purged about 18 yards that I knew I’d never use. We have a free table at our quilt guild meeting, so I put it there and it was gone in no time. I’m so glad it’s going to get used by someone instead of collecting dust in my sewing room. And yes, I know, that means I have room for NEW fabric! 😂

I think what I love about this pouf from Closet Case Patterns is the incorporation of denim. That makes it feel sturdy, and like it would coordinate in any room.
Kids in the kitchen can get a little messy. Of course, messy is part of learning, but wouldn’t he or she love to wear this apron from Simple as That while building some cooking skills?
I’ve always thought earrings were a great way to add some fun and whimsy to an outfit. It doesn’t get much more fun than furry and puffy, like these baubles from So Sew Easy.
It’s only January, but it won’t be long until we’re looking at spring again. I have mint popping up already. This process for preserving herbs with salt from Pure Grace Farms will come in handy soon.
I must have been in a blue mood when I was gathering this week’s favorites - this quilt matches the pouf from the beginning. If you take a look at the photos on the listing for this pattern from Pamelaquilts, there are lots of ways to put the blocks together to really change the look of the whole thing.
