Tomorrow is a big day around here. We get to find out if my incoming grandbaby is a boy or a girl! We’re excited to get the news, but I’m honestly not hoping for one or the other. I’m just happy there’s a baby on the way! I bought this adorable set of panels by Dear Stella (before my daughter was even pregnant ), and after the reveal we’re going to go pick out some fabric to go with them so I can start on the baby quilt. I can’t wait to start making some things for the little one!

I love how this pincushion from Easy Peasy Creative can stand upright. It seems like that would make it convenient to use.
While we’re on the topic of vertical storage in the sewing room, check out this easel from Sew4Home. I’m always losing my pattern underneath what I’m working on, and this seems like a great solution.
It turns out you can make mood Easter eggs. Like those mood rings that change color? Who knew? Dream a Little Bigger shares the how-to.
It was hard enough for me to adjust to cooking for just the two of us when the kids moved out, but when I have to only feed myself things tend to get very simple and boring. I like the idea of this little mac and cheese for one from One Dish Kitchen. No chance of eating more than intended either!
I want to make all the blocks in The Patchsmith’s Sampler book. Everything is so bright and cute!
