I had something super exciting happen this week, and this time it has nothing to do with my growing family. The local cable and internet provider came and installed honest-to-goodness cable and internet at my house! For nearly two decades we’ve been struggling with satellite internet, then through our cell phone company with a very limited data plan.
Now I can watch all those videos y’all keep talking about! I can also post a tutorial with lots of photos at the end of the month without worrying about going over our allowance. And all of it is crazy-fast, especially compared to what we were using. For a sewing and craft blogger, this is life changing! 😁

This one is pretty last minute, with Easter arriving this weekend, but if you’re a fast crochetist you might have time to pull off this egg cosy from Thoresby Cottage.
My favorite part of the lead-up to Easter is all the tiny spring dresses. I love how this one from Happy Together can have a different look depending on your choice of fabrics and buttons.
I don’t have a good excuse to dye eggs this year (so excited for next year though!), but maybe I could substitute a couple of these colorful cookies from Eating on a Dime.
Something about this garden gnome quilt pattern from Fat Quarter Shop both cracks me up and signals spring is here.
Before you look at these micro crocheted critters from SuAmi and decide they’re too expensive, ask yourself this - how much would someone have to pay you to make something that tiny and then part with it?
