I couldn’t say anything last week because he wanted to surprise his sister, but my son is visiting! He was moving back to the U.S. from Italy, so he decided to take a bit of leave and come home before he reports to his next base. He hasn’t been home since October 2017, so it’s a pretty big deal. It’s so nice to have him around again!

I can think of a million uses for this circular tote from Bryan House Quilts!
One thing my son and I share is a strong love for coconut. These tropical cookie bars from Barbara Bakes would make his day.
I’ve seen several “fidget” projects lately. They’re meant to help those who, for a variety of reasons, can benefit from something to keep them busy and help them focus. This book from Leisure Arts has a great variety of things to make, and it looks like you could find something for all ages.
