I spent the first couple of days of this week in Montana. As I mentioned, my son is visiting, and we really wanted to show him our property over there. My husband, son, and son-in-law were driving over, but I didn’t want to leave my pregnant daughter here alone for the week. Instead, I bought myself a one-way plane ticket from Montana to Oregon, drove over with the boys, and got to see my son’s face when he experienced the place our dream home will be in a few years. Worth every penny.

Not that I spend a lot of time wearing swim suits, but I do have one where the bottoms are board shorts, and I actually like it. With this pattern from Life Sew Savory, I could make some myself.
This sweet felt family from Mollie Makes would be nice for a little one, but I also think they’d be cute just living on a shelf somewhere.
I love the idea of weaving, but aside from a wall hanging, what do you do with it? This bag from Persia Lou, that’s what.
Maybe it’s because I was just in Montana visiting my prickly pears, but these cactus pretzels from Wilton caught my eye this week.
I love that something as cheerful as this quilt pattern from Fat Quarter Shop can be made without a single curve in sight.
