With my son staying an extra week, then planning our trip to drive his stuff cross-country next month, I’m playing catch-up in my sewing room. I have some things to finish making before my daughter’s baby shower in July. To top it off, I’d like to finish a quilt I’m working on for our guild’s quilt show. Sleep is overrated, right?

I went through my closet recently, and pulled out several shirts that have holes in the same spot. I think it’s where I lean against the counter in my studio. I wonder if this sashiko technique would work on those? I think this kit from MiniatureRhino is intended for denim, but it would be a great way to learn how it’s done.
