I didn’t realize how much I needed that vacation until it was over. I came back ready to get back to work! I planned an event before I left that will start next week. Well, not so much planned as thought “Hey, that would be fun…I’ll work out the details when I get home.” Anyway, brace yourselves for Christmas in July!
I’ve never really understood why it’s July, when June is actually the halfway point, but whatever. Who am I to buck the system? This time...😉 Look for some holiday projects and a few Christmas Friday Favorites sprinkled in. I’ll also share my very first pattern sale, so stay tuned next week!

You have to subscribe to Sew 4 Bub to get access to this skirt pattern, but I really love the sporty shape of it. Perfect for summer!
I love the added handle on this gardening knee pad from Life Sew Savory. Smart idea!
I bought peaches at the farmers’ market in Virginia Beach while we were there. I’d been craving a good peach for months, but there were none to be found local to me that early. I think I need to go back and get some more so I can try out this recipe from What’s Gaby Cooking. Mmmm.
It was not only the shape, but the colors of this piece from WillowBrookMarket that caught my eye.
You can find these, and my previous Friday Favorites, on my Crafty Staci’s Friday Favorites Pinterest board!
