After nearly a year and a half on the other side of the Atlantic, my son is finally coming home for a visit this week! We joked that we'd made a reservation at an Italian restaurant for dinner (knowing he's looking forward to enjoying some non-Italian food while he's here). He said the problem now isn't that he's tired of it, it's that it isn't authentic Italian food here. I think my boy has acclimated.
